Little Nest Nursery

Your Child is in Great Hands

A very warm welcome to Little Nest Nursery. I hope the information given helps you make the right choice for you and your child. Being mothers ourselves we know just how important it is for parents to find the perfect nursery.

A child’s first day at nursery is filled with many ambivalent emotions. Parents often put on a brave face for their little one, whilst many secret tears are shed. We never take for granted the importance of a parent entrusting their little worlds into my hands.

At Little Nest Nursery we seek to create a home-from-home feel. You can expect a fun and vibrant nursery where children learn politeness and respect for one another, an environment that encourages independence and self-autonomy and where children feel free to navigate themselves in their space.

Our Approach

Our primary aim is to create a home-from-home, fun and calm nurturing ambience. Toys and resources are made freely accessible to children to increase their independence in navigating themselves within the setting. This contributes towards an increase in self-autonomy and confidence and enables children to have an increased sense of belonging.

We hope to nurture resilient, confident, and friendly children and understand the importance of parent partnership and work hard to build good and trusting relationship with our parents.

Key Person

Once each child has started to settle into the Nursery, they will be allocated a Key Person. This is a member of our team who is responsible for;

  • Being that special person that knows the child best and who the child will form strong bonds with.
  • Ensuring the child’s individual developmental needs are met.
  • Being the point of contact for the parents if they have any questions.
  • Recording achievements and reflecting upon them.
  • Reviewing and producing progress reports.
  • Setting challenging activities in different areas so each child makes meaningful steady progress through their time at 3 Butterflies Nursery.

Staff

Our current members of staff are professional and friendly with the natural zeal and energy you need to work with the young ones. At Little Nest Nursery, we will always endeavour to recruit staff that have a genuine love for children.

Our Vision

“We endeavor to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment that enables children to thrive as they learn through their play.”
